Character

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Hi!

My name is Katelyn Filla and I am the chapter president for Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Northern Colorado. AOII was founded on being diverse and inclusive with all members who walk through our door. AOII pushes its members to represent the four core values the fraternity holds dear: character, dignity, scholarship and college loyalty. As collegiate women, we strive to maintain good academics and push each other to do their best in working towards their degrees. AOII loves its philanthropy and as an individual chapter we try our best to contribute to the arthritis foundation with a week of philanthropic events both semesters. This chapter is full of ambitious women who try their best to inspire ambition everyday just like our four founders Stella, Jessie, Elizabeth, and Helen did when they first formed this amazing sisterhood. The point of joining greek life is to find that lifelong sisterhood and Alpha Omicron Pi has given me, and many others, just that. The greek community at the University of Northern Colorado has given my chapter members and I so many amazing opportunities. Being a part of something bigger has been such a rewarding experience and I hope that greek life continues to grow! If you are interested in joining greek life or learning more about our chapter do not hesitate to reach out to me at aoii.president.unco@gmail.com or our Vice President of Membership Recruitment, Caitlyn Richmond, at unco.aoii.vpmr@gmail.com

Roses,

Katelyn Filla
