Letter from the President

Hi!

My name is Chandler Isom. I am the chapter President of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Northern Colorado. AOII is an, ambitious, giving organization that prioritizes leadership, sisterhood, academics and philanthropy. Our organization has a big heart for giving back to our community that has given us so much. AOII is very passionate about raising awareness about Juvenile arthritis. We bring awareness and raise funds for the arthritis foundation by hosting two philanthropy events a year at our chapter house. These events help strengthen our sisterhood by working together towards a purpose that is greater than ourselves; giving back to our community. An overall sense of Greek Unity is something we are proud of and actively involved in. Our chapter is involved in intramural sports, attends and supports other philanthropy events and socials of other chapters. Our organization is also very proud to offer fifteen leadership positions to our members. These leadership positions help women gain lifelong skills such as communication and time management that will help in with their schooling and future carriers. The women who hold these positions grow in not only their skills but become even more well-rounded individuals ready for where their journey may lead them. The sisterhood in Alpha Omicron Pi is one that lasts a lifetime. We lean on each other is times of hardship and celebrate each other in our successes. We are a family unit that shares in life’s big and small moments together. I will be forever grateful for the friendships I have made in this chapter as they have been some of the strongest bonds I have ever formed and will remain for a lifetime. My sisters have made me a better person, more ambitious, giving, grounded and patient. Wherever you may find it, I truly hope you find a sisterhood that lasts you a lifetime, supports you endlessly and fills your heart with laughter and joy. If you have any questions about AOII, Greek Life or Recruitment, please do not hesitate to reach out, my email is: aoii.president.unco@gmail.com

Roses,

Chandler Isom
